Oppiva OKL

Haku luokanopettajakoulutuksen S2-taustaisten valintaväylän kautta on käynnistymässä. He hakeutuvat kotiryhmiin samaan tapaan kuin perusväylää pitkin tulevat ja opiskelevat saman yhteisen opetussuunnitelman mukaan.

S2-taustaisten väylän kautta tulevilla opiskelijoilla on todennäköisesti varsin hyvä suomen kielen taito, mutta meidän on tarpeen varautua myös siihen, miten tarvittaessa tuemme heidän opiskeluaan ja kielitaitdon kehittymistä osana kaikkia opintoja.

Tervetuloa siis Oppiva OKL -aamuun kuulemaan lisää kielitietoisista käytänteistä - ja eritoten keskustelemaan niistä ja kehittämään niitä eteenpäin! Meillä on varmasti jo ennestään hyviä toimintatapoja, jotka on aika panna jakoon muillekin. Tavoitteena on kehittää yhteistä kielitietoista toimintakulttuuria.

Toivomme erityisesti paikan päälle tulemista (kaffet on!), mutta mahdollistamme tällä kertaa myös etäosallistumisen. Poikkeuksellisesti tilana on Ruusupuiston Helena.

Hi everyone, The application period for the class teacher programme’s admission route for students with an S2 (Finnish as a second language) background is about to begin. Next autumn, we’re expecting to welcome five students through this pathway. They will join home groups in the same way as students admitted via the regular route and follow the same shared curriculum.

Students coming through the S2 pathway will likely have quite a good command of Finnish, but we should still be prepared to support their studies and language development as part of all coursework when needed. These same perspectives and pedagogical practices benefit all our students, many of whom we have already identified as having various learning challenges.

You are warmly welcome to our Oppiva OKL morning session to hear more about language-aware practices—and especially to discuss them and develop them further together! We surely already have good practices in place, and now is a great time to share and build on them. Our goal is to strengthen a shared, language-aware teaching and learning culture across the programme.

We especially encourage on-site participation (there will be coffee!), but this time we’ll also make remote attendance possible. Please note the exceptional location: Helena in Ruusupuisto.
